Current Happenings

Please mark your calendars for the upcoming spring CoVA meeting, scheduled for Friday, June 18th at 1:00pm. We will be meeting at James Madison University's Taylor Hall. Refreshments will be provided by our kind hosts at JMU!

Meeting Location: Festival Conference Center, Room 6. The building is located on the new campus (across I-81 from the old campus).

Parking: JMU Parking Services has confirmed free parking in the C11 and C12 Lots across from Festival. You will not need a parking pass or hang tag to park here. PLEASE NOTE the distinction between these lots and D3 Lot, which is also located across from Festival. D3 Lot is a restricted Faculty/Staff lot and vehicles parked without F/S permits will receive parking citations.

Directions to Festival and Parking Lots from Interstate 81: Take EXIT 245 - Port Republic Rd/ VA-253. If coming on I-81 north, turn LEFT on Port Republic Road and take the first RIGHT onto Bluestone Drive. If coming on I-81 south, turn RIGHT on Port Republic Road and take the first RIGHT onto Bluestone Drive. Drive past Newman Lake and at first stop light (intersection of Bluestone/Carrier Drives) bear RIGHT onto Carrier Drive. Drive over the interstate and past the College of Integrated Science and Technology and East Campus Library buildings. Turn left into Lots C11/C12. Refreshments will be provided.
